Why do I think you should see this advertisement?
VW is portraying in this advertisement a good consumer perspective. Everybody had had this feeling while driving. Therefore, every viewer will be able to relate to the persons in the ad and will be glad they are not in this situation. This is creating a good emotional point to tell your content. The viewer will listen and watch because they will want to know the end.
VW did a smart move with this advertisement. This ad connects with the viewers more than a traditional commercial with normal content relating to fuel efficiency as it makes the point emotionally.
The last sentence “You’re need to stop, your car doesn’t” is lighting up the situation and everybody will finish watching with a smile on their faces.
